The owner of Tara Lodge was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. He gave us many recommendations of things to do and places to eat in Kep and organised our onward travel arrangements as well as making dinner reservations for us. Tara Lodge has beautiful gardens and pool area and it was lovely to be able to sit and enjoy them. We had massages in the garden which were very good. We also ate breakfast next to the pool - which started with fresh fruit and lovely juices. The bedroom is big with a nice outdoor seating area and sunlounger - lovely place to relax. From Tara Lodge we were able to take a 10 minute walk down for a drink to watch the sunset and then another 10 min walk to Crab Market which was great and definitely something worth going to. We had a relaxed stay at Tara Lodge and we enjoyed our short visit to Kep.

TARA Lodge is located close to the crab market and restaurants (15-20 minute walk). The lodge is very serene and calm with lots of green plants. The room is spacious and equipped with hot water and air conditioning. The hotel manager Marie was really nice and explained everything to me. In general the whole staff was very welcoming and kind. There were several breakfast options. I really enjoyed the French toast breakfast. Stay here if you‘re going to visit Kep!

The hotel is well located and surrounded by nature. We found it very cosy and with a nice vibe - the swimming pool is great at all times of the day. The owner Lionel and the manager Marie are extremely kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. They offer laundry service at a fair price and also rental of scooters. Good breakfast.

Amazing service and friendly staff. Marie was super helpful and provided good information. We really enjoyed our big veranda at the lodge and the privacy. The garden is so lush and beautiful as well.

Tara Lodge was certainly a haven of peace, which we needed after Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The setting is lovely, with lots of foliage and beautiful pool. The staff were lovely and the food was great.

Cozy wooden cabins surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very spacious so you hardly notice that other guests are there. The pool is large and very clean.Nice sunbeds and chairs around it. Excellent breakfast. And then the owners..... very kind and welcoming. They can arrange motorbike rental, tuk-tuk rides and give info about things to see in the area. I recommend this hotel very much for a few relaxing days in Kep.

We liked everything about the property! The host, Marie, was so friendly & helpful … looked after us really well. The rooms were lovely & clean … at a much better standard than we’ve seen elsewhere in Cambodia! The swimming pool area and restaurant were beautifully done.

Excellent value for money! Clean, cosy room with strong aircon. Lovely shaded veranda to relax in the evenings. The beautiful garden is very well-kept and the dense vegetation offers maximum privacy. Pool and jaccuzi are amazing. Kitchen is immaculate as is the restauraunt upstairs with it's fresh sea breeze and 360° view of the gardens, National Park mountains and Vietnam in the distance. Food is delicious and lovingly prepared with the freshest ingredients. Staff were kind and courteous, always going above and beyond. Patrick and Jim were the most wonderful hosts you could wish for. We will most definitely be back. Can highly recommend. Thanks guys, hope to see you again soon!
